Everyone is welcome at both our Leisure Centres and all three Community Halls. We aspire to be a place where the whole community can enjoy an active lifestyle with activities for all ages.
At Castle Point Active you can work out in one of our gyms, take exercise classes, swim in our 25 metre pools, throw parties, join clubs, play sports, enjoy a wide range of kids activities and relax in our Sauna and Steam room or take some time out in our Café. You can even have your wedding at one of our lovely Community Halls.
We are an Active Essex Find Your Active Lead partner where we encourage everyone to enjoy the huge benefits of moving more and finding out what is right for you when it comes to getting active.
Memberships
We offer a range of memberships, Peak and Off Peak, as well as memberships for Seniors (Aged 65+) and for those under 21. We also offer family memberships so the whole family can enjoy the centres together. Looking to swim only? We have an aquatic membership just for you.

Swimming Lessons
Learning to swim isn’t just for kids! It’s a valuable life skill that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Here at Castle Point Active, we offer a range of classes designed to make learning to swim fun and rewarding, no matter your age or experience level.
Our staff are fully qualified to teach Parent and Child Classes (4 month to 4 years), independent child swimming lessons (Stanley and above) and adult only swimming lessons.
