We’re very excited to introduce a new Tap-In Scan System at Waterside and Runnymede, designed to help you stay committed to your fitness goals and ensure fair access to classes for everyone.
We have attached a how to video – Here’s how it works:
✅ When you arrive for a class, simply tap in using the scanner at the entrance or inside of the studio.
✅ This confirms your attendance and reinforces your commitment.
✅ If you can’t attend, please cancel your booking in advance on the app.
⚠️ Missed classes without cancellation will now result in a warning email and booking classes may be revoked.
✅This tap in system will allow you to scan in at the turnstiles and at the gym – no more needs for cards 😊

Yes, you need to scan in for each class with the app or swipe card.
As long as you have the app and a LIVE membership you will not need your membership card 😊
Only you will be able to scan in with a LIVE membership. Giving your login details to someone else will not allow them to scan in, the system will be registered to your phone. If you change or upgrade your phone you will need to come to reception so we can update your account.
Members can use either their app or card to scan in. If you was to forget both reception can register attendance.
Currently, no monetary charge is applied.
- After the first missed class, a warning email will be sent and we will conduct spot checks on repeat offenders and potentially block accounts. .
- A fee may be introduced in future phases.
Yes, scanners are also active on the gym door and turnstiles, so it improves overall access and data tracking across the facility.
If they do not scan in before class, it will show as a no show however if you pop to reception before or after class they can register the session for you.
QR Codes are in studios. Instructors can direct you to them 😊
