Waterside Farm Leisure Centre is a finalist in the prestigious National Fitness Awards
Waterside Farm Leisure Centre is delighted to announce it has been named as a finalist in two major categories at the prestigious National Fitness Awards.
The National Fitness Awards is an annual event in the UK Fitness Industry which was established to celebrate and recognise excellence in the sector. This year included a record amount of entries. Waterside Farm Leisure Centre has achieved finalist status in the below categories.
- Local Authority / Leisure Trust Centre of the Year
- South Region Centre of the Year
Cllr Tom Gibson, Portfolio holder for Assets and Special Projects said: “This fantastic success is built on the hard work of our dedicated staff at our leisure centres who should be praised for such a brilliant achievement. We are lucky to have Waterside Farm Leisure Centre and its sister site Runnymede Leisure Centre in our community. Waterside Farm Leisure Centre will find out if it has won these prestigious awards at a glamorous awards ceremony in Leicester on Friday 28 November where some of the team will be in attendance.
