Planned Pool Closure

Runnymede Leisure Centre’s swimming pool will be closing for one week starting from Monday 13th April 2026 and is planned to re-open on Tuesday 21st April 2026 for essential maintenance and improvement works.

These works are vital to take place as the filter media has reached the end of its life after last being changed in 2017. It will be replaced with new glass filter media which will improve the pool water quality, lower chemical demand, improve energy efficiency and mean that another filter media replacement won’t be likely needed for 15 years ensuring the long term efficiency of our swimming pool.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. Please also note that Waterside Farm Leisure Centre’s swimming pool will remain open during this time which is included in all memberships. We will endeavour to give updates as the works progress.

Waterside Farm Leisure Centre’s swimming pool will also be closing on Friday 27th March 2026 for essential maintenance on the poolside flooring. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. Runnymede Leisure Centre will also be open on this day.

All swimming lessons will be cancelled during these closures. All Direct Debits will be updated the following month and any block bookings will have an extra lesson added.
